Product Description

PRECAST MANHOLES & UTILITY CHAMBERS IN UAE

KKK Precast produces precast manholes and utility chambers for drainage, telecommunications, electrical, water, irrigation and infrastructure throughout the UAE, which are of high quality. In addition to our concrete barriers – precast bunkers, concrete shelters, concrete walls (T-walls), manholes and utility chambers form an important part of our commercial precast product line.

Each project will have varying technical needs. Due to this, our precast manholes and utility chambers are produced as per drawings and specifications of a project. Important aspects that need to be confirmed for accurate quotations include key dimensions, chamber depth, cover loading specifications, pipe or duct openings, lifting requirements, quantities and consultant or authority requirements.

WHAT WE MANUFACTURE

We produce precast manholes and utility chambers for many infrastructure and utility applications such as:

  • Drainage Manholes: Storm water and site drainage access and inspection chambers.
  • Telecom Chambers: Precast access chambers for telecom corridors and project specific telecoms applications, such as those for Etisalat and du.
  • Electrical Chambers: Cable access chambers for LV, HV and project specific electrical networks.
  • Valve and Utility Chambers: Chambers that allow access to water, irrigation, valve systems and general infrastructure service points.
  • Drawing Based Chamber (Custom Precast): Opening, cover slab, sleeves, embeds and access for project specific requirements.

ACROSS THE UAE: COMMON APPLICATIONS

Our precast manholes and utility chambers can be used for a wide variety of projects that are used in the UAE, such as:

  • Road and Infrastructure Projects: Inspection locations for drains as well as access to utilities.
  • Master-Planned Communities: Chambers for telecom, electrical, water and irrigation systems.
  • Heavy Duty service yard: Robust access and inspection points for challenging operating areas.
  • Utility Corridors: Phased infrastructure cable and duct access chambers.
  • Ports and Terminals: Strong chambers for supporting complicated logistics and infrastructure needs.

Why use PRECAST MANHOLES?

Manholes designed and cast in the factory have many advantages over those cast on site, such as fewer weather conditions and concrete curing, less steel fixing and concrete pouring, and a much lower amount of on-site shuttering.

The factory also offers greater control of dimensions, reinforcement placement, openings, concrete quality and traceability of QA/QC. This is crucial on infrastructure projects where the dimensions of the chamber need to align with the location and dimensions of the pipes or duct entering the chamber.

One of the major benefits of using it for active construction projects is the speed and predictability. Work can be carried on in excavation and site preparation, and once the chambers are made, can be sent to the site in order. This can assist contractors in managing the project more effectively and minimize onsite delays.

DELIVERY & DOCUMENTATION

Precast manhole and utility chamber packages are prepared in accordance with the actual project programme and sequence of installation. Depending on the project needs, documentation and coordination can be:

  • Shop drawings, prior to production.
  • Reinforcement and dimensional inspection records.
  • Concrete test records and material documentation relevant to the concrete.
  • Lifting anchor details, safe handling assumptions.
  • Zone-wise / priority based delivery.

Such a systematic process facilitates more efficient coordination with manufacturing, transportation, site and installation teams.
